That’s why we are proud to introduce Friends of the Florida Junior Blades (FFJB), our official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to powering the future of our hockey family.

FFJB was created with a clear mission: to directly enhance the experience, growth, and development of every player in the Junior Blades program while uplifting the broader Southwest Florida youth hockey community.

As competitive hockey grows, so do the costs associated with playing at a high level. FFJB plays a vital role in keeping ice hockey accessible and sustainable by raising funds to cover essential operational needs, including:

• Travel & Operations: Offsetting the costs of team travel, ice time, and essential game-day logistics.
• Equipment & Gear: Ensuring players have access to top-tier equipment to keep them safe and performing at their best.
• Scholarships: Providing financial assistance opportunities so talented players can compete, regardless of their financial background.
• Player Development Initiatives: Funding specialized coaching, training resources, and community outreach programs that build both great athletes and great leaders.
• College Scholarship Opportunities: Providing financial awards and academic grants for graduating players transitioning to college hockey and higher education, helping them achieve their goals both on the ice and in the classroom.

Building a sustainable hockey program takes year-round effort, and there are many ways for families, fans, and local businesses to make an impact:

• Events & Fundraisers: Throughout the year, FFJB hosts community events, golf tournaments, and team fundraisers designed to bring our hockey family together while raising vital funds.
• Official Merchandise: Show your team pride! A portion of proceeds from select FFJB merchandise goes directly toward our player support funds.
• Direct Tax-Deductible Donations: As an official 501(c)(3) non-profit, FFJB accepts tax-deductible donations year-round. Whether it’s a one-time gift or a recurring corporate
  sponsorship, every dollar directly benefits our athletes on and off the ice.
